One of my favourite parts of Fashion Week has always been looking at all the incredible street style out there. London Fashion Week is, by far, my favourite of the bunch, as it doesn’t have the polished and perfect style that the other three cities strive to have. There is something a little different, even raw, about their style choices as the fashionistas and fashionistos look comfortable in their skin and individual to boot.
This year London Fashion Week was host to something other than the hoards of bloggers and journalists – rain. This gave all these attendees a challenge that may not be given again in Paris or Milan. Wrapping up and looking stylish can be a very difficult marriage to get right but in my opinion, most rose to the challenge. There was a huge Irish contingent over in the English capital this season and some of my favourite Irish bloggers made that runway we call the street their own! This season, the street crew also decided that flat shoes was the order of the day and it was refreshing and ingenious how some bloggers (who mightn’t necessarily enjoy the flats) were able to step out of their comfort zone and wear lower or non-existent heels.
